Growth & Innovation Advisory Board (GIAB)- GIAB's focus is on helping determine which policies and practices are likely to work best to support the growth of New Zealand's business sector, within the context of an inclusive economy (given New Zealand's unique competitive positioning, our history, and our culture), and how they can be implemented, for the greatest possible benefit.
National Advisory Council on the Employment of Women (NACEW)- Advisory body to the Minister of Labour. The Council holds quarterly meetings. Advises on matters concerning the employment of women and promotes the dissemination of information on the employment of women in New Zealand and overseas.
National Health Committee Hunga Kaititiro i te Hauora o te Tangata- Advises the Minister of Health on public health services, personal health services and disability services.
New Zealand Local Government Commission- An independent statutory body established under the Local Government Act 2002. The Commission has three members who are appointed by the Minister of Local Government. Its main task is to make decisions on the structure of local government.
Overseas Investment Commission (OIC)- Administers the New Zealand Government's foreign investment policies. The Commission assesses applications for consent from foreigners who intend to make substantial investments in New Zealand.
