* BioDynamic Farming and Gardening Association in New Zealand
The Association was established in 1945 to promote biodynamic methods. The objects of the Association are to foster, guide and safeguard in New Zealand the biodynamic approach to agriculture, horticulture, forestry and animal husbandry as initiated by Rudolf Steiner in 1924 and as practised progressively since that time. The association is affiliated with the General Anthroposophical Society.

The Biological Husbandry Unit (BHU) was established in 1976 and in August 2001 was relaunched as the BHU Organics Trust. It is a charitable trust comprising representatives of organisations and farmers involved in organic agriculture and sustainable farming who govern the BHU. The BHU features a diverse range of established model organic agricultural and horticultural systems that are used for research, demonstration and education.
