* The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)
Organization of eleven developing countries which are heavily reliant on oil revenues as their main source of income. Dedicated to the stability and prosperity of the petroleum market. Membership is open to any country which is a substantial net exporter of oil and which shares the ideals of the Organization. The current Members are Algeria, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.
* Petroleum Exploration and Production Association of New Zealand (PEPANZ)
An industry association which promotes the interests of petroleum producers and explorers in New Zealand. Among other things, the primary objectives include participating in policy and legislative initiatives and promoting industry awareness of such issues as the environment and safety.
