Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards

Since 1967, The Boston Globe and The Horn Book, Inc., have co-sponsored the Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards for excellence in literature for children and young adults.
Initially there were only two award categories: Fiction and Picture Book. The Non-fiction Award was introduced in 1976. The Fiction Award was extended to include Poetry in 2001.
