Christmas and New Year hours

All our libraries will be closed on statutory public holidays and there are different opening hours for some libraries between Christmas and New Year.

Christmas and New Year hours 2012 – 2013

• Akaroa and Diamond Harbour Libraries will retain their usual earlier closing times.
• Little River Library and Service Centre will be closed between Christmas and New Year.
• The Mobile Library’s last day of service in 2012 is Sunday 23 December. The service will restart on Monday 7 January 2013.

Monday 24 December	Libraries close at 6pm. No Mobile service.
Tuesday 25 December	Closed.
Wednesday 26 December	Closed.
Thursday 27 December	Libraries close at 6pm. No Mobile service. Little River Library closed.
Friday 28 December	Libraries close at 6pm. No Mobile service. Little River Library closed.
Saturday 29 December	Normal weekend opening hours. No Mobile service. Little River Library closed.
Sunday 30 December	Normal weekend opening hours. No Mobile service. Little River Library closed.
Monday 31 December	Libraries close at 6pm. No Mobile service. Little River Library closed.
Tuesday 1 January	Closed.
Wednesday 2 January	Closed.
Thursday 3 January	Normal hours resume except for the Mobile Library. It will restart on Monday 7 January 2013.
