- Identifies 1995 as a year of well publicised accidents to tourists and analyses the impact of this as well as outlining the development of safety standards for white water rafting, flying and other activities. It does not include accident statistics.

From 1954-1994 see death-disasters-accidents, which are further split into categories such as aviation, boating, drowning, mountaineering. The microfiche index ends in 1993 and is replaced by the PAPERS database which only indexes Canterbury related stories.
